ReBoat at DATAMITE Meetup 2025

ReBoat was thrilled to participate in the DATAMITE Project Meetup hosted by OTE’s IT Innovation Center on 6th February 2025, 9:00 AM, at OTE HQs in Athens, Greece!

The event served as a vibrant platform to bring together researchers and industry professionals involved in EU-funded projects for insightful discussions, networking, and collaboration.

Under the theme “Bridging Research and Industry in EU-funded Innovation,” this event featured five thought-provoking panel discussions, where leading experts explored cutting-edge research and solutions in data ethics, privacy, cybersecurity, AI, IoT, and sustainable innovation.

We’re proud to have presented ReBoat, an EU-funded initiative focused on pioneering a decentralised systemic circular solution that addresses waste management on islands. Our innovative solution utilises a mobile, modular, sorting, recycling, and reprocessing plant on a boat to manage waste generation peaks, transforming waste into valuable products to serve both island residents and tourists.
