Synergies
This section showcases ReBoat’s synergies with other Horizon-funded initiatives, research institutions, and innovation networks. Together, we exchange knowledge, align strategies, and strengthen our contribution to circular economy transitions across Europe.

CircularBuilt EU Cluster
We are proud to share that REBOAT is part of the CircularBuilt EU Cluster, a strong alliance of European projects working together to accelerate the transition toward buildings that are not the end of materials’ journeys, but the beginning of their next life cycle.
The CircularBuilt EU Cluster unites nine EU-funded projects into a dynamic hub for innovation, where researchers, engineers, and designers come together to exchange ideas, collaborate, and experiment. It provides an ideal platform for organizing and taking part in events, workshops, and collaborative challenges.
Discover the CircularBuilt EU Sister Projects:
- Demo-BLog – Harmonising Digital Building Logbooks across Europe to improve transparency, traceability, and data accessibility in the building sector.
- MEzeroE – Creating an open innovation ecosystem to accelerate the adoption of bio-based, human-centred façade solutions for a climate-neutral built environment.
- LIAISON – Advancing sustainable solutions for roads and railways across their full life cycle, promoting circular infrastructure and renewable energy integration.
- MOBICCON-PRO – Developing and demonstrating circular solutions to recover valuable resources from construction and demolition waste.
- BIO4EEB – Developing bio-based solutions and products to increase the use of sustainable materials in construction within a circular economy framework.
- DISCOVER – Leveraging robotics, AI, and Digital Twins to transform demolition and construction by identifying and analysing end-of-life materials for reuse and circularity.
- INBUILT – Scaling up ten innovative products and systems to minimise the carbon footprint of buildings across their entire life cycle.
- SUM4Re – Creating materials banks from the built environment by combining urban mining and technologies for automated on-site data acquisition and building materials identification and asset components.

EU Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI)
https://circular-cities-and-regions.ec.europa.eu/
Reboat project, a project funded under the Horizon Europe HORIZON-CL6-2024-CircBio-01-4 call, is now officially part of the EU Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) support scheme. This exciting development marks a significant milestone for the project, as it will now engage in a variety of CCRI activities and collaborate with other leading cities, regions, projects, and organisations working towards a circular economy.
As a member of the CCRI, Reboat will have the unique opportunity to establish synergies with like-minded initiatives, focusing on demonstrating circular systemic solutions at the local and regional levels. This collaboration will enable ReBoat to gain valuable insights and share knowledge with other members of the CCRI community, enhancing our work and impact.
Additional Benefits of Being Part of the CCRI:
• Gain recognition and high visibility for the efforts in advancing circular economy practices.
• Participate in CCRI events to connect with key stakeholders and exchange ideas with a diverse group of experts and organizations.
• Easy access to key materials and resources, empowering us to stay at the forefront of circular economy innovation.
• Cooperate with similar projects to learn from their experiences and accelerate the implementation of sustainable solutions.
• Add the cities and regions supported by ReBoat to the CCRI Map, showcasing the commitment to circularity at the local and regional levels.
This partnership with the CCRI marks a new chapter in Reboat’s journey as it will continue to drive forward the circular transition and contribute to the sustainable transformation of cities and regions across Europe.
